Difference Between Different Western Digital Colors

I have seen different colors by Western Digital...

What is the difference between Blue, Black, Green, Red, and Purple?

Blue is mainstream, black is performance, green is economical, red is for always on storage (NAS), purple is for surveillance recording. All work in a PC, just optimized for different things.
