Difference between DS3 and DS4

Lookign at a new build. I see a lot of peopel favour the 965 DS3. Is there any advantage over the DS3 and DS4 and vice versa ?

I bought the DS4 for the cooling solution but I think it was unnecessary. If you are interested in RAID 5 or SLI/CrossFire then go for the DS4. What is the price difference?
