Difference between GPUs

Hello guys!

I'm about to buy an used GPU. I got one on my eye which is the nVidia Geforce GTX 770, which looks like this: http://www9.pcmag.com/media/images/324002-nvidia-geforce-gtx-770.jpg

The thing is, who is the manufacter of this GPU? I mean, there are GTX 770 branded as Asus, MSI, and so on, but this one only says Nvidia Geforce. Is Nvidia themselves who make them?

And besides the cooler difference, is this one better/worst than the other ones?

That is a 'reference' card. Yes, Nvidia themselves make them. Their biggest draw is for people that SLI because they tend to be cooler than aftermarket cards (what with the single fan and less heat output).

Oh, I see. So I should be fine with that one? No common known issues with that "version"? Like, I can buy it for 190€ (around £150), the guy has it for like 6 months or so. I'm guessing it's a good deal

Ehhh, I sold my EVGA 770 SC for 230 USD in cash. Its not the greatest deal, considering it is the slowest core and memory speed out of all the cards, but that price is ballpark. Personally, my top dollar would be 200, maybe 210 USD for that card if I was to buy it.

Sadly this one is the cheapest in my country (from the used ones). I don't know if I should wait and pray to get an Asus or MSI or try to lower the price of this one for around 210 ~ 215 USD (around 175€). The other drawback is that is store where it was bought is in Germany, I'm afraid that if I have to send it to warranty I have to get in a lot of troubles with that (I live in Portugal).
I'm like desesperate to get a GPU for my computer but the money to get a new one is kinda high for me, even if I wait a couple months. Meh...

Whatever you do, be comfortable with the purchase. You can find ballpark prices of items on websites such as Ebay, so use that as a reference. The 770 is a solid card, even if you do buy it you can still OC to get higher clock speeds.
