Hi, i wanted to buy a GTX 1070, but i dont know the difference between the Superclocked model and the Non-superclocked model, is the superclocked model the same as the other (same hardware) but with a overclock out of the box? If its like that, can i overclock the non-superclocked to get the same performance as the superclocked model?

Also, i dont know if the non-superclocked has a backplate, i cant find a review that is not talking about the SC one.

The fact that it's "superclocked" essentially means nothing due to GPU boost 3.0, your GPU will out of the box boost higher than both of the speeds, so it's essentially... well, useless. You can overclock each of them the same.

You are correct, superclocked means overclocked out of the box or from the factory, and yes you can overclock the non superclocked versions. It depends on the cards for the backplate I have noticed evga thinks its ok to leave backplates off of the new pascal line. Usually when you are about to buy a gpu and you look through the pics and it doesn't show the back of the card that usually means it doesn't have a backplate. I just got the Zotac GTX 1070 AMP Edition last week and it has a backplate and also boostclocks over what Zotac actually says it would, it boosts somewhere in the 19xx or at least unigine benchmark says it does
