difference between gtx 980 and gtx 980 ti ?

Get neither, the 1070 & 1080 are about to launch. The 1070 should be 980Ti performance at just a little over 970 prices

It is good but it's now last generation, chances are a new 1070 won't be much more than a 2nd hand 980 and will give a least 980Ti performance with 8gb vram and better dx12 support
