Question Difference Between LPDDR and DDR memory?

Since a lot more PCs using DDR5 seem to be using LPDDR5 rather than DDR5 for RAM what (if any) is the key difference?
Does it Offer;
Better Heatspreading
Lower Latency/Production Cost
More (data) slots
Higher Capacaties readable by motherboards
etc...?

Also how available will/is this RAM in the case that I decide to upgrade to a "better" higher capacity RAM kit for my PC/laptop?

LP is Low Power and LV was Low Voltage, they are the same.

Currently LPDDR means soldered to the board so no upgrading capacity is possible.

It requires fewer DRAM packages for the same capacity and uses less power with the primary disadvantages being it's soldered to the board (or sometimes on CPU package) and has higher latency.

Though the bandwidth for LPDDR5X is quite high, there are sets out there for 9000 and 9300 MT/s with the spec officially supporting 8533

Quite common to see 7000+ in mobile devices.

One of the reasons Dell is pushing their CAMM modules in place of SO-DIMM for removeable memory.
