What is the Difference Between Memory Clock Type such as GDDR3 or GDDR5?

GDDR3 is the graphics equivalent of DDR2 - memory clock is 2 times memory frequency.

GDDR5 is the graphics equivalent of DDR3 - memory clock is 4 times memory frequency.
