what is the difference between processor and motherboard ? if i want to change my motherboard then should i even change my processor ?

The motherboard is the biggest electronic board inside the computer. It's the 'mother' in that allows all other components to work together, and without it, the computer would have no 'life'. The processor is like the brain, which does all the calculations.

Whether you need to change your processor when changing your motherboard depends on your current processor, and the socket (which is the 'seat' for the processor) that the new motherboard has.
