Difference between Ram

I was just wondering if there was any difference between these RAM sticks, since they seem pretty similar.
This and this.
These are also 1x8gb sticks of ram right?

Practically speaking, there will likely be little to no difference in performance between them. But the 2nd link is dual rank memory compared to single rank, so it's technically superior, and would be the better buy given they're the same price.

Yes, they're both 1x8 GB sticks.

Would it be worth it to buy the single rank stick for $6 cheaper or is it better to pay an extra $6 to get the double.
