hello, i'm new to hardware and i wanted to know which difference between reading and ram bandwidth

When you say reading, do you mean the speed of the memory like DDR4 3600 vs the bandwidth in Mega Transfers per second (MT/s)? Or something more concrete like MB/s or GB/s?

Suffice to say that the memory is effectively mis-represented most of the time it is sold, and the old PC numbers have grown to values beyond common reasoning and have basically been abandoned.

If you're talking about the DDR value, it's how many times per second a unit of data is transferred. Bandwidth is how many bytes per second is transferred. For regular PC main memory, the figure is typically Bandwidth = 8 * DDR value.

The DDR rating is probably preferred because it establishes the rate of communication which is a lot more important than how many bytes per second said communication can handle.
