Difference between RGB Fans and LED Fans(If there is any)

Hi All,

I know this maybe the stupidest question ever but I like to know the difference between RGB case fans and LED case fans. I want to get a look like the image below from a Coolermaster Masterbox Lite 5 Casing which doesn't have RGB fans pre-installed. So I want to get some fans for that and I'm confused whether to buy RGB fans or LED fans.(will be using a Asus Z270F motherboard with Aura Sync so I want to hookup the front fans to that if possible)

Rgb are still led but can change color. Led that don't mention rgb are just one color.

Thanks alot for answering so quickly. So if I were to buy some fans online form ebay or amazon, I should search for 'RGB LED Fans' right? Also do kind of RGB fans support Aura Sync or do the fans have to come from a known manufacturer like 'Coolermaster' or 'Corsair'?

Searching for that may get non pc fans. You can even just search rgb pc fans. All lights on fans are led so that's just redundant. Not all fans are compatible with asus aura. I don't think this list is complete but compatible fans will have the asus aura logo somewhere. https://www.asus.com/campaign/aura/us/Sync.html
