Question Difference between these two laptop batteries ?

Both the L22D4PE1 and L22M4PE1 batteries are compatible with my Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G7 IML laptop, but what is the difference between the two ? Just curious, it does not really matter…

There are actually three. You're missing L22C4PE1.

As far as i can tell, all three are same battery, but with different part number. E.g;

As of why there are three variants - my best guess is region difference. Could be that one is for America (North and South), then one is for Europe/Africa and 3rd is for Asia/Oceania markets.
