Difference Between "Turbo Boost" and "Turbo Boost 2.0?"

I was wondering if there's a difference between "Turbo Boost" and "Turbo Boost 2.0?" It seems that they're used interchangeably, but I wanted to make sure before I potentially got a CPU and mobo that are incompatible!

Turbo boost 2.0 (seems) to only be on haswell rigs, from what I've seen its only on mobile processors... Havn't seen the term used on a desktop processor yet, so if you're building a desktop rig be sure if you see turbo boost 2.0 that it isn't a mobile processor.

From what I saw whenI bought my laptop it seemed most of the Turbo boost were around .5~.6 ghz, and the 2.0 boot was 1ghz.

Actually, it was the mobo that said 2.0 (this one as an example; see Specs -> Supported CPU tech). Is this just people messing up the terms? This is definitely a desktop mobo.

In short no there isn't a difference from the board's perspective, if it supports 2.0 it will support regular turbo boost. I think its just a bit of a marketing ploy to say "hey its more boosty (not a word, deal with it lol)"
