Difference between very identical HGST Models?

Hello Everyone. I am seriously looking to see what is the difference between those two very identical models. Anybody have experience with any of these two specific model? Which one of these is newer than the other?

1-HGST Travelstar H2IK10003272SN 1TB,Internal,7200RPM,2.5" (0S03563) HDD

2-Hitachi Travelstar 7K1000 HTS721010A9E630 1 TB,Internal,7200 RPM,2.5" (0J22423) HDD

only obvious difference is year of production, the 2nd one is newer. Easy since its still on their web site now

Thank you for the reply Colif. Obviously the only difference is the year of production since i couldn't find one thing and thought would not hurt to ask from here..My another question to you which one you suggest between the model i had above from HGST OR the one below from WD??

I see this model of WD is 70 maybe if i buy from jet.com can have 15% discount and comes down to 65. HGST model above goes around 54. Same Cache/buffer, same size, samne capacity and same RPM. but what do you think? is it worth the price wise paying for WD since it is newer than HGST model ? I am not even sure if it is/.

Western Digital actually own HGST now, which is funny as I can tell just from the model name that they were originally owned by IBM, as I bet they had a Deskstar model at one stage too (15 years ago I had a few Deathstar drives (that wasn't a typo) that all died on me).

WD Blacks are their best model outside of Pro gear, and are built for long life so it depends how long you want the hdd to last for, I don't know what the life span of hgst drives are but I have a 9 year old WD drive that still works, though it wasn't a black. It might be worth paying more for a drive that lasts longer.

should that mean something as well ? Because to me, HGST was being used and tested by more people and seen that it is reliable performance wise, speed wise as good as WD black.
on the other hand, WD is listed since the middle of 2016 and has way much less reviews compared to HGST.
and also HGST ranked on top of the list in backblaze charts. that is another major thing makes me question about WD even my gut says go with WD based on the reasons just like you mentioned in your last reply.

The wd black has a 5 year warranty, how long is the travelstar? if there is no difference, the choice is really up to you. I cannot guarantee that one will outlast the other, though the WD is meant to have higher endurance.

Travelstar comes with 3 years warranty. thats the only difference those two, the rest, buffer 32mb , capacity, rpm, even the detailed specification numbers are the same.

I will use it as my actual boot drive since my Seagate momentus 7200 failed after 8 years.
Obviously i will go with my gut at the end of the day no matter what i guess

i would get the WD only for the extra 2 years warranty, a hdd should at least last 3 years so its added safety for just a little more. I also find WD drives are very reliable, I only had 1 of them die in the last 15 years, I started using them after my IBM drives stopped working.

If I had the choice, I probably have a WD storage drive now but I didn't make this PC and they chose Seagate who in the last few years have had a bad run.

I definitely stay away from Seagate as i know SEagate is not as the same as 2009 SEagate hard drive i had with my dell laptop i purchased back then. So , I appreciate all your replies Colif for real. I am gonna go with my gut and choose one of them since you also stated that not much difference between those two, performance or reliability wise. Thanks a lot again.
