Difference between Windows Home Premium and Windows Profeessional

I have a Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit and a Windows Professional 64 bit.
Can you tell me what is the major difference?

I am also trying to install an image file to a different hard drive in a different computer and have not been successful.

Home premium is limited to 16GB RAM a single CPU socket and can not join a windows domain.

There are additional security features in the Professional version like group policy and bitlocker.

You can't install Windows in one system and then use that build in another. Aside from the hardware issue with it not booting or crashing when it tries to start, you need a separate Windows license for that second computer. Install Windows clean on the other computer.
