i m getting a new rig and i was origionally going to go with a asus a8n-e mobo, but changed my mind at the last minute, because there is no point in spending $100 just to eventually upgrade to a dfi later on down the road (i was going asus because they are more first-time oc friendly)

i was going to get the dfi ultra0d but they are out of stock. im getting the nf4-d. is the nf4-d a good board or is there problems that the ultra-d fixes, and is there any other major changes other than the lan (dual gigabit vs single gigabit)

thanks, noob

Asus is very oc friendly.... but DFI is better for OCing... they have heaps of BIOS updates and even differnt kinds of BIOS for differnt CPUs... This can become a bit confusing. So if your a newbie and you just want a MB that CAN oc and be stable just get the Asus one

i agree, get ASUS if you're newbie, get DFI if you are hard core overclockers.ASUS is more user friendly, while DFI is less user friendly, u may have trouble adjusting the settings for DFI BIOS, its more for pro.
