Difference in msata and mini PCI-e? Can I use an SSD?

So I bought this mobo for a low wattage gaming computer for my buddy to carry to lan parties. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813135364&cm_re=ecs_2100-_-13-135-364-_-Product). It has 2x mini pci-e slots and only two sata ports(which are already in use). So the question is why do i read on some forrums that msata ssd's will work in these mpci-e slots and some say it wont.

Will this work or not or could someone send me a link to another forrum or page that can explain this?

Your motherboard has a mini-pcie slot, not an msata slot.
mSata and miniPCI-E are the same deminsions and pinout, but that is where the similarity stops.

Your miniPCI-E slot is for a wifi card or wwan card (3g/4g cellular), etc.

If you do not have a graphics card in the black pci-e slot you can get a sata add-on card.

You will want your boot drive (the one with operating system on it) to be connected to the sata ports on the board though.

I hope this is not a gaming computer, sure it is small and potable but that little cpu would be just awfull.
For watching 1080p movies it should be ok, but beyond that it would be hitting a brick wall.

LOL. It will have a gpu so that pci will be taken as well and i plan on overclocking the apu to a little over 2 with out getting it to hot. It will be for a travel build not to max out every game. Ill just sacrifice my storage HDD for a larger ssd. I bought the board really really cheap and im just trying to see the best routes to take to get the best performance out of this board when it comes to gaming. I have a biostar mini itx with a quadcore board as well that im going to use if this one just won't cut it.
