Difference in size and compatibility

I ended be up with the GTX 1050 OC instead of the LP "low profile" for my hp elite 8200 I5 2400 series 8gb RAM

seller definitely didn't distinguish in the description. I just need to know if I just remove the useless plastic (could care less what the thing looks like beyond wiring) without messing with the dual fans would I still be able to use the card just the same if it was low profile?

if anyone can just answer me that you will be a hero

Not like that. low profile also has low profile board.

I just ended up keeping the card it's a tight fit and I still had to force things over to protect the fans but it's fully operational I just can't put the lid on. I'm just gonna make my own lid preferably transparent I just needed something to start me off will build a custom PC a little later after fully upgrading this starter. Thanks though I did learn that can you can still use the wrong (sized) graphics card it's really just a matter of does the thing fit in the case and are you bothered by the inside components showing.
