Yes. Its very similar with the exception of the new Hawaii boards (290 and 290x).r9 280x/7970 ghz, r9 270x/7870 ghz, r7 265/7850, r7 260x/7770, r7 250/7750. Most of the new r series is just overclocked 7000 series cards.
