differences between noctuas

Hi; i have a question
I'm am about to change my pc, but i'd like to take something from what i am using now
Actually i have a noctua nh-u12p, is it worth to change with a nh-u9b or something similar? Are they the same or spending money on a new one isn't worth the price?

i think nh-u12 is a heavier cooler, i suppose it should have better cooling abilities then the nh-u9b, also i think both product are discontinued. i think you will need to order a conversion kit (if one exists) otherwise you need to get a newer cooler to support the more modern cpu sockets.

I think i'll keep this one and see the temperatures, if they are good i'll keep it, if not i'll change
thought they did some improvements over the years
