Differences between older processors

For stirring the drawers, I found a pair of my old pcs processors and I doubt has arisen.

What is the difference between an Intel Pentium II 233Mhz SL2HD and SL264 Intel Pentium II? Or between a Pentium III 450Mhz SL35D Costa Rica and a Pentium III 450Mhz SL35D Malay?

pentium2's - the diff is which core stepping the processor is on. the Sl2hd being the newer one.
Pentium3's - where they were actually made.
