Some additional comparisons, between CPUs:

Swift 1 (N3710) vs Swift 3 (300U): https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Pentium-N3710-vs-AMD-Athlon-300U/m141841vsm852003
N4100 vs 300U: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Celeron-N4100-vs-AMD-Athlon-300U/m407836vsm852003
Ryzen 3 1200 vs 300U: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-Ryzen-3-1200-vs-AMD-Athlon-300U/3931vsm852003

Notes:
Comparison site doesn't have N4120 in it's database, so picked the closest match: N4100 (slightly weaker than N4120).
Also, i picked the weakest Ryzen 3 CPU for comparison since you didn't specify which Ryzen 3 you're talking about.

Thank you sooo much!
it's R3-4300U apparently.
Which version would You go for,
are the Pentium / Celeron / Athlon too outdated and unappealing?
(i can see percentage numbers but idk how it trabslates into realworld use)

It completely depends on what you need the laptop for.

Celeron is more than enough for casual web browsing while being cheap.
Pentium is good since it has more power over Celeron but costs more as well.
Athlon, newer ones, offer better performance than Pentium CPUs, with added cost.

But for gaming, you're looking towards either Ryzen CPU or Intel Core i5/i7/i9 + dedicated GPU as well.

To give you some idea, here's R3-4300U vs i5-6600K: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-Ryzen-3-4300U-vs-Intel-Core-i5-6600K/m1135301vs3503

I have i5-6600K in my Skylake build (full specs with pics in my sig) and i can do all i need + game on 1080p with ease. Then again, the comparison isn't quite fair since i have desktop PC with dedicated GPU and R3-4300U is inside the laptop.
