Question Differences for connecting fans

Hello team
I want to add some fans in my pc but I am not sure where because I find 3 different spots
1with 2pins ,1 with 4 pins and 1 with 5 pin
Where is better to put it and why ?

Probably every motherboard has this header:

Most of the time, there are 2 or 3 headers like these, CHA_FAN and CPU_FAN (I assume your CPU_FAN header is allready occupied by the cpu cooler). The plug of the fan can be plugged in only one direction. This is because the fan plugs have two guiding edges, where that little protrusion will fit in between. Even tho, these headers have 4 pins, you can plug a 3 pin connector on them just fine.
