What is the difference between the Realtek ALC892 and the Realtek ALC1150 codec? I have different motherboards and I really want to go with esthetic but if there is a major difference between them sound quality wise then I won't do that. I have the Dolby surround sound 7.1 headset.

Solution
Well in essence the 1150 has a higher SNR, meaning that it will have less interference and noise in the sound. I myself have never noticed the difference using the HD 448 from Sennheiser so I'm pretty sure you'll need to spend over $150 on the headphones in order to hear the difference. (My board uses the ALC892).
