Is it worth the extra money to get the superovercloocked version ect?

Depends what you want. The aftermarket coolers like EVGA's ACX 3.0 are a lot better in cooling and acoustics than the reference design. If you want the FE style , then you would get the FE.
The higher end models like the EVGA FTW are custom designed which offers better components gearing for overclocking/cooling etc.
The SC version is just a factory overclock on the standard ACX3.0 model. There is a possibility you getting a higher binned chip than the standard. The SC version guarantees the base clock will be at least 1708Mhz.
