[SOLVED] Different fans on corsair h100i AIO radiator

So as the topic reads, one of the stock fans started making this wierd noice where it sounded like it was scraping a cable or something, well it wasnt so i decided to replace it with some case fans wich is equally big. Now to the question;

Can I do this without "risk"? Or is the only thing thats different that the fans are maxed all the time due to 3 pins in 4 pins slot?
It's the same V but not A does it matter?
I attached the 3 pins to the 4pins that followed with the AIO, so not the motherboard pins, does it matter?

It's OK to replace them but should use fans with high static pressure.

Thanks for the answer, so whats the difference? It got something to do with airflow in "hard" places right?

Or whats the difference? Im carefully monitoring my temps, they're equal if not even slightly better right now..

Right, radiators and some air coolers have much denser fins requiring higher static pressure to push air thru. Used as case fans, they are not any less efficient.

Yes, equal at lest, better off if case has intake air filters. Opposite wouldn't be as good but would still work with very little consequence. Differences are very subtle.
