So after many articles stating that your key now activates the features and that all the installers will be the same, except for 32b or 64b, it turns out that if you download the pro ISO your HOME activation key will not work with it and MS will only refer you to the store to purchase the correct key.
I tested this extensively today with my cousins assistance trying a Pro key with Home installer and then his Home key with the Pro installer. {thankfully speedy usb keys make this a rather short testing period}

and PS - the old ei.cfg trick does not work with w10; it doesnt have the file to begin with.

When the articles spoke of the same installer being used, they were talking about the Media Creation Tool being a single download (32-bit or 64-bit) which let you select the edition of Windows 10 that you wanted. Though now, I am a little skeptical.

This cache of the media creation tool download site includes a direct download of the Windows 10 ISO, and it seems that whatever used to be available for download was valid for both Pro and Home, and possibly even 32-bit and 64-bit as well. Going to the site as it is now, however, this page no longer exists. Perhaps it was deprecated.
