Different manufacturers in one gaming pc

Hey guys

I build a gaming pc recently and I have a question .. Is having different manufacturers for the parts a bad thing ?

or dose it effect the performance badly ?

90% in this forum get random parts from different manufacturer. whatever is cheaper/gives best performance

even those branded pc's have parts from different manufacturer

Mix and match brands all you like!

I have an Asus motherboard, G.Skill RAM, and a Gigabyte GPU, my PC runs 100% fine.

just make sure you do your research, make sure the parts are compatible.

Though he could probably be smart and hand you a Tegra based tablet :lol:

My computer is a monument to brand diversity, Only similar brand components are the case and (most of the) fans (Coolermaster), and the water-cooling (XSPC, which will change soon).

I think the closest you could get to building a machine all from one brand would be ASUS, they seem to have fingers in every pie in the industry.

Of those two builds, I would go with the 2nd.
