Different Motherboard for Win 7 oem

I will have to replace my motherboard with a different model. I asked Microsoft and they said it was okay. Are there any issues/tips/advice I should be aware of when I make the switch?

If you've already been in contact with and they said OK... then just proceed with normal and after you get everything installed... check to see if Windows Activates.. If not, then you'll just have to give them a call and explain you've already spoken to someone beforehand. Don't worry, they'll be able verify that you called by your serial key... since they keep notes on all service calls.
