Different RAM frequency pairing

Yes, but the system will use only 1066 MHz (always the lower) from both the RAM sticks.. Also, since they're were of different memory, running dual channel is a doubt and even if dual channel works, 2 GB from both the sticks will work in dual channel and the remaining 2 GB on the 4 GB stick will work alone in single channel.. Better pair two identical 4 GB sticks for efficient performance..
