So I'm looking for new ram for my (recently bought) pc, as the 4gb it came with just isn't enough nowadays. Now, I want to add another bank (it's DDR3), but I noticed that there's a bit of a difference in model numbers. I want 4gb extra, but there's models 10600 and 12800u or something like that. Could I buy any or do I have to stick with the number the current bank has? I know (by experience) this was very sensitive on DDR2, is that with DDR3 as well?
PS: I'm using a HP Compaq Pro 6000 with i5-3470 cpu, just to clarify
