Different RAM modules

Hi! I had recently bought 2 G skill modules of ram 4gb 1866mhz.

Actually my desktop runs 2 G skill modules of ram of 2GB each 1600mhz

Would you recomend to instal the 4 modules or only the 8gbs of 1866

What mobo and CPU, since you have all 4 can try them and see if they will play, might need some manual setup to get all to run at 1600 or 1866 if they all play initially

Can give them a try think I'd start at 1333

So you are saying I should connect the 4 modules? Even with different frequency and memory?

Try them and see, if they don't play it simply won't start then go to the two newest ones and try, if they work, let me know the model numbers and we'll see if we can get all to play - am grabbing some sleep so won't be back for a few hours 😉
