When I search I only find the problem people are having with not being able to remove the read only attribute.
When I mark files as read only, they remain marked as read only but still allow me to rename, edit or delete them. They can be picture or text files or what ever. What is going on?
I just upgraded my 7 year old PC with a new Samsung 850 EVO SSD 250GB drive and new clean install of Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. While organizing photos I had on some external USB drives, I noticed this issue. It happens whether the files are on an external USD drive, internal backup drive or my new SSD.
Thanks, Dale
