Different size case fans?

I was wanting to know if it is possible to have different size fans in your case. The case I am getting is the Cooler Master HAF 932 Blue Edition, and it has 3 230mm fans. Would it be possible to replace the 230mm fans with 200mm fans? The reason I want to do this is because I can't seem to find any 230mm fans that I like. Would I need to make different holes for the fan to screw into? Or could I just take the 230mm fans out and put the 200mm fans in without any problems? I know that you really don't have to replace the stock case fans, but I don't like the way the fans that come with the case look, and I am set on getting this case. Plus I would like to improve airflow as much as possible to keep temps at a minimum. Thanks in advance!

Short answer: If you try to put a 200 mm fan in a 230 mm hole, it won't attach. If you get it to attach, the 15mm hole all the way around it will leak air and make your fan ineffective. So match fan size to hole size, unless you want to build little converter plates.
It depends on the case, is the short version.

The specs for your case suggest that they do not have mounting points for 200mm fans. You can chose to replace the top fan with 3 120mm fans, and the side fan with up to 4 120mm fans.
It's possible they haven't listed all of the possible configurations, but that seems unlikely.

You are probably just better off finding a case that has the aesthetics you want, or sticking with 230mm fans, unless you want to mod a fix.

EDIT - actually, a 200mm and 230mm fan might have the same mounting points, as the "size" isn't the size of the fan at all. Those Bitfenix Spectre Pro 230mm fans are nearly the same size as the 200mm version, but with a different shroud.

EDIT2 - It does look like everyone with 230mm fans in their Prodigy cases is using the same mounting points as I do with my 200mm fan. The problem is that based on some googling it would appear that while 120+140mm fans are 100% standardised in mounting points, larger fans are not.

The bigger the fan the more air it can move quietly, the smaller fan you get the louder the fan is to move the same amount of air a bigger fan would. Going from a 230mm to a 200mm doesnt make much of a difference though.

I don't think a 200mm fan will have the same screws holes as a 230mm fan, check your case and see if there is more than one option for the fan slot you're looking at, and see if it has more han on mounting spot most cases do. Than you can either just measure the holes or look in your case manual.
