Hello all,

I recently bought a second GTX970 to SLI with and upgraded my PSU to 750W and I can't get SLI to work.

Here's my problem:

After installing the second card, SLI bridge and PSU my PC booted normally, but in Nvidia controls I can't enable SLI. It recognises both cards, as does CPU-Z and device manager. I did several complete reinstallations of the drivers using DDU in safe mode and everything. I switched the SLI bridge around and switched the cards around in their slots, the PCI-e slots are marked 1-x16 & 2-x8.

I found several people mentioning DifferentSLIauto got their SLI working. This tool depends on the nvlddmkm.sys file in drivers folder but I don't have that file. I read that it was possible to expand the file from the nvlddmkm.sy_ file found in the Nvidia driver folder but that isn't working either.

Can anyone help me out?
