How to style some text (not whole page) e.g. underline, italic, bold, strike... in Notepad++?

E.g. I want to type something like this "Hello and good morning everyone"

Notepad++ is not ideal to work with text docs for long terms.

I highly recommend Open Office (100% free), the Open Office Writer is a true MS Word's replacement.

Notepad++ is a plain text editor. It's mean to edit just that, plain text.

If you need something with formatting, you need a rich text editor, like Microsoft Office, Google Docs, or LibreOffice Write.

Try TextPad (included with every version of Windows) - it's a lite text fomatter.
I prefer Libre Office (also free) - new version is very fast and reliable.
