Hi. I need to somehow make my PC talk to my printer with the following details:

My PC is connected to my wireless Router which is connected to the office network.

Office Network is running on 192.168.2.x
Router IP is 192.168.2.11
Internet Gateway is 192.168.2.1 which is the main router I guess.

The PC that is connected to the router (via cable) is getting an IP of 192.168.0.100
The android devices connected to the router (via WiFi) are also getting IP of 192.168.0.101, 102 etc

The printer is connected in the corridor and has IP of 192.168.2.100 which is the main network I believe.

I have a DLink wireless router which I have access to configuring. I do not have access to the main network router.

What can I do on my DLink that will enable my PC to print from its 192.168.0.100 address to the printer which is on 192.168.2.100 address?

Thanks for your help

You need to go to your IPv4 TCP/IP settings and set your PC to Static IP of 192.168.0.100 and add your subnet and default gateway and then click on Advanced and that should take you to your Advanced TCP/IP settings. Add 192.168.2.254 and the subnet mask of what ever the printer is setup as. Basically you just added a secondary IP scheme for your computer to look for. Dont worry about the secondary Default gateway. Try it and let me know how it goes. Not quite sure how your setup is, but its possible.
This happens because your 2nd router creates a second subnet.

Now, with few exceptions, you should be able to use your WIFI router as a simple Access Point, that means you ignore its WAN port, and you hookup the existing network into one of the LAN port on the WIFI router, this way the WIFI router acts like a switch and all its device will get on the same subnet as the main router. This is the easiest way unless you explain yourself why this is not desirable.
