Different temperatures readings on cpu

The asus software that comes with the motherboard is showing 80+ degrees while the realtemp software is showing 88-93 degrees.

Which one is more accurate and to trust with?Mines an overclocked i7 6700k with asus maximus viii hero motherboard.Liquid cooled with id cooling 240l.

those temps seem a little high to me, especially if you water cooled...

There's two different temperatures that can be monitored on the cpu:
1. CPU temperature which is generally lower
2. Core temperature which is generally higher

So which one is the core and which one is the cpu?The realtemp only shows 4 different temperatures but i didn't see any readings for cpu...

I use realtemp. I would concern your self with those readings.
