I am wondering if there would be a problem if I were to use a nickel cpu and gpu block, but still have copper radiators? I have heard that different metals in a loop can cause problems. I also thought about using an anti-corrosive, but I have dual bay acrylic reservoir so I could not use any products with glycerol. I am just wondering what the best option would be?

Solution

Nickel is fine because it doesn't oxidize at room temperature. The combination that users need to be careful of is bare aluminum and bare copper. Hardened aluminum is slightly better, but still not as desirable as more expensive nickel/copper loops.

So as long as I am using nickel and copper only I should not need a anti-corrosive?

nope. Any combination of nickel, copper, and brass is fine, especially if the brass is coated

Okay. Thank you for your help!
