[SOLVED] Different widths of very old 2.5 inch SATA Hard disks

Hi,
To make things short... I bought the same enclosure for two old 2.5 inch hard disks and one of them doesn't fit. I then noticed that although they seem to have identical measurements, one is more narrow. Is the other one need to be even more disassembled to fit inside the enclosure?

It’s just an old thick one probably 12-15mm. Most anything in the last ten years is thinner. The enclosure likely has those in mind. Probably listing the maximum thickness on the packaging somewhere.

Agreed, it looks like one is 9.5 mm and the other 12.5 or 15mm. You cannot disassemble it further.
