Differing drivers for gtx 1080 FEs

Hello,

I am having some issues with the drivers for my gtx 1080s both founders editions but they are visually different (one looks more like a radeon card with red accents). I want to SLI them but one of the cards show up as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter in device manager and it says "The driver trying to start is not the same as the driver for the POSTed display adapter." I am able to install drivers when I have only 1 plugged in but switching out the cards requires me to reinstall the drivers for the new card.

I was wondering if there is anything I could try to fix this issue and SLI my cards.

SLI capable mobo both PCIE slots work individually. 750w psu. sli using a HB bridge from MSI.

which motherboard are you using?

BIOS is up to date?

Is it SLI ready? Two of the slots have to be classified as x8/x8.
x16/x4 won´t work as SLI

Have you got pictures of them both? If they are both Founders editions they should look the same...

also there should be a label with the exact model number on the back of the cards
