Differnces in Skylake and Kaby Lake?

i know that Kaby has slightly higher clocks and ability to stream 4k content off Netflix. anything else? thought i read that Kaby might be better optimized for dx12 gaming?

They are identical, 0-5% difference in games on same clock speed. But 200 mhz wont make a huge difference too.
If you already own skylake so not worth buying kabylake.

Kaby lake has higher stock clocks and better overclocking potential, otherwise they are almost identical. I dont think the 7700k is more optimized or dx12 than the 6700k, they are the exact same architecture no reason a 6700k would be any better at dx12 than a 7700k if they were at the same clock sped.

Yeah it's really not a noticeable difference. If you already have SkyLake don't bother with Kaby, maybe wait for the next gen
