Difficulty in sharing files with a managed switch

Hello,

I'm a complete newbie when it comes to networking.

I just recently purchased a Linksys / Cisco spg 2000p managed switch.
I have a few IP camera I need POE for and this managed switch with POE was cheaper than unmanaged switch with POE injectors. Long story short I have a NAS that I store all music, videos on and it is attached to my switch. The switch is pretty much default mode and I can share internet access but I can't see any other computers which are connected. How can I share files? Do I need to set up Vlans and all that jazz?

No need for Vlans or other complicated things. Make sure, all your devices are on the same network segment. Can you ping the other computers? Then it's probably a config problem on the other computers. Network and sharing center in control panel may help.
