Dear Sirs ..

I want to Know What is the Diffrence between Desktop GPUs [ Geforcexxxx / Redeonxxxx ] and Workstations GPUs [ Quadroxxxxx / FireGLxx ]

Does that two categories do the same functionality in 3D Games [ DirectX / OpenGL] .. Does Workstation GPUs give higher frame rates ??

I konw that Workstations GPUS' is used fro CAM/CAD purposes .. as ( as i think Accelerate the Rendering { offline rendering } ]

But What about i use on the Worksation GPUs for Games Does it worth it ...

i hope anyone can give me a detailed comparison

ThanX of your support in Advance ...

Byee

The major differences are in the drivers. Workstations GPU get heavy 3d rendering optimisations and adapted drivers.

You can even soft mod some gaming GPU into workstation GPU (I can't remmeber which one).

Basically, workstations GPU get 100% support for high-end 3D software from the drivers team. This ensure stability, image quality and speed.
