Hello, everyone!

My mom's TV died recently so I lent her a 22" Samsung S22F350FHU Monitor so she can hook it up to her TV box (DVB-S2 receiver). The model is Samsung SMT-S5140/VIA.

So since the monitor doesn't have speakers, she only has an image so far through the HDMI cable. She has Logitech Z4 speakers with a 3.5mm plug she could plug in to get sound as well but neither the monitor or TV box has it. The box has a Digital Audio connection though, but I'm not sure what cables and/or convertors are needed.

What I initially thought could work was getting a Digital to Analogue converter, like this, https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/61YGWAqdGAL._SL1267_.jpg and then get a digital audio cable, one end in the TV box, the other end in the converter. And then the speaker's 3.5mm goes in the converters other end (the one with Headphone symbol in the picture, as it doesn't have left/right plugs, just a single 3.5mm). Is that right or am I missing something?

Any help would be highly appreciated! Thank you!

Thank you for the answer. I was a bit worried it wouldn't. I live far away from mom's, so I'll just order to her address and want it to work outside the box, so to speak. Just plug the cables and that's it.
