Question Digital LED strips pins

I currently have a gigabyte AX-370 gaming k3 which I'm going to exchange with my father for his Aorus AX-370 gaming k7 and for some extra RAM sticks I not longer use. The fact is that I'm planning to get some addressable RGB strips, but in the new motherboard there is only a 5 pin RGB connector I can find. That connector only works for regular 12V RGBW strips. Is it possible to make the strips work? are there any proper 3 pin RGB pins? I think I can change the 12V for 5V to use regular strips I have and to rearrange the pins to suit better your strips. I cuild just use the regular ones but I really want to have digital at some point without changing the motherboard for that sole purpose.

Is it possible to make the strips work?

You have to buy the addressable RGB controller, and use it to control the light, if you have to buy these addressable RGB strips.

Or buy the regular (12V) RGB strips, if you don't want to buy the addressable RGB strips and the controller.
