Digital Picture Frame

Not usually one to ask questions here, normally on the other end, but sitting in my dorm I had an idea.

I have some pictures of my girlfriend on my desk in my dorm, but dont really have room for them (and I would like to have more) so I am thinking about a digital frame.
I dont know much if anything about them, so it dosent matter if they need to be hooked up to my desktop or stand alone, I dont really care.
My main questions are:
Any recommendations? (I dont really have a budget, cheaper the better as I am a college student)
Are the resolution on these things good? Or would I be better off with physical pictures?
How would they handle pictures from an LG g2 or g3, (1080p-4k sizes)?
My pictures also vary on orientation, horizontal and vertical.

Any input?

Most of the cheaper ones are way less resolution, which at first I saw as a con but now am perfectly fine with. You won't see any detail in a 1080p resolution framed in 4x6 or 5x7. So the smaller resolution gives you a zoomed in effect for most of your pictures and if the subjects are relatively center frame, it actually works better this way in my opinion.

One thing I found really annoying was the last one I bought interfered with my indoor digital TV antenna. While the digital frame was plugged in and powered ON, I would lose most of my channels.
