I was more referring that most movies are ran at 1920x1080, that if you did play a video in that aspect ratio it would either not be true "full screen" or be distorted if it was made to be. sorry if I didn't illaberate enough before you went off on your accusations on what you thought I meant. Also, name calling is what my 9yo does so I'll refrain.

I love how people like people who sound smart...but are idiots. Take joex for example. If he wasn't thinking too hard of an insult (moron is first class, by the way), he would have been able to do some elementary math and figured out the pixel density for a 21" monitor is about 104.9 or 107.8, depending on 1080 vs 1200. The iPad has a pixel density of 128. Again, if you actually passed the 6th grade, 128 is not twice as much as 104.9. Should I dumb it down for your simple mind?

Of course it doesn't look twice as detailed. According to your logic, SD is more detailed than HD. Uh, yeah, right.

Pixel size only matters if you're so close to the screen that you can see the pixels. Seeing the pixels is bad. But I sit very close to a 24 inch screen @ 1920x1200, and I don't see any pixels. So a higher pixel density than that really isn't needed unless your nose practically touches the screen.
