Hello. i recently built a computer using all used parts and when i plug it nto the monitor it says digital power saving mode. it is a lg flatron w1952TQ. ive searched around on the internet and everything ive tried hasnt worked. i think it may be the monitor, because ive had this same problem on other pcs.it may also be the hard drive because i took it out of another computer and havent done anything to it yet, just figured i could download drivers after its in the computer.

So the first thing to do is disconnect/remove all the parts that aren't needed to generate an image. I'm also assuming you don't have another PC you can test the monitor or at least another monitor or TV you can try to plug in your PC. So basically disconnect the hard drives, dvd drive, remove all sticks of memory except for one, disconnect/keyboard/mouse and also remove the GPU if the CPU has a igup like most intels or AMD APU's. Then power it on and see if the screen show anything it should at least show the motherboard maker information. If that works then slowly start re-attaching devices starting with keyboar/mouse, then hard drive, gpu and last add back memory (one at a time) until you find the problem part or to see if it goes away.
