Digital TV Tuner

I got a Digital, free to air tuner in my PC, it worked under ME, installed XP-Pro, and got problems, tried un-install and re-install drivers, but no luck. Can not get the beast to fire up anyone had a similar issiue, it's a Hauppauge unit, I got latest driver from the WEB, but no joy, do I need a patch or something?

Oh yes, its a WINTV-NOVA-T pci model

did you check microsoft's hcl..?( hardware compatibility list)

It's fine, and fully supported.

When I uninstall driver i invariable loose my Norton Antivirus and have to do a system restore, so something funnies going on.

I'll try removing card also at the weekend, and do a complete start from scratch approach, otherwise i'm stuck.

ive heard that Hauppauge DTV cards have horrible win xp support. if i were u i'd return the card and get FusionHDTV 3. i have version 2 of the card and its great! check out www.dvico.com
